i laid in the hospital bed in pain . the stupid i.v was making me itch and all this medication had me dizzy and doped up . i had just woke up from my third nap today and i had to blink a couple times to adjust to the light . i looked over and saw my love ( natalia ) asleep in the recliner and a smile spreaded across my face .
" babe wake up!! " i called out to her .
" Baee , Baeeeee ! " i called out again as she slowly opened her eyes & smiled .
" you're awake ! how do feel ? " natalia said .
" i'm ok . better than before especially knowing that youre still here with me . "
" i couldn't bring myself to leave you especially under these conditions . i could've lost you . i'm not taking that chance again . " natalia replied with a smile .
i stared into her eyes as a tear rolled down my face . i summoned her over to me then pulled her closer for a kiss . " i love you natalia ! you make me soo happy ! i want this forever ! i wouldn't trade " us " for the world . "
" i love you too T . don't you ever forget that . " she replied before squeezing her way into the bed .

* They decided to skip school for D birthday *
" HAPPYYY BIRTHDAYY BAEEE !!!! " i yelled as i walked into D's room . He was still asleep and by the look on his face i'd startled him . He blinked a couple of times then smiled finally recognizing my face .
" Thank you sexy lady but why you here so early ? "
" it's not early ! it's 12 pm . why you sleep so late ? "
" i was up smoking blunts with Terrell all night . " D replied telling half the truth .
He got up and walked into the bathroom to relieve himself and brush his teeth . He jumped when he felt my arms around him then turned around .
" what's on the agenda for today ? " he questioned with his toothbrush hanging out his mouth .
" well first you're gonna wash that toothpaste off your mouth and get dressed then we're going to see T for a second & the rest is a surprise . "
" sounds like a plan . " he replied before getting undressed and jumping in the shower .
i walked into his room and sat his gift bag on the bed . i carefully took everything out of the bag and laid them out . there was a true religion outfit , the newest pair of jordans , and a snapback to match . i went all out for my bae . i then reached into my purse and pulled out a small blue card . i grabbed a pen & wrote :
" surprise ! this is the first treat of many that you'll be recieving today . so get dressed & come into the kitchen .

i kissed the card & laid it on top of his outfit then walked into the kitchen to prepare my prince his brunch .
" you got it smelling good in here bae . " Darrion stated walking up behind Kamiyah and wrapping his arms around her waist . she turned around to face him and licked her lips .
" damn son , you sexy . " she stated as they both began to laugh .
" thanks for the fit bae . " he replied before kissing her lips .
" you're welcome , now go sit down . it's time to eat. " Miyah demanded pushing him off her .
Darrion sat down at the table as Kamiyah placed 3 plates & a bowl in front of him . one plate contained bacon & sausage . the other had pancakes , waffles , & biscuits . the last plate had eggs , & the bowl contained mixed fruit .
" i cooked . so you can serve yourself . " Miyah stated as she placed a plate & fork in front of him , then walked out the room .
" you ain't gone eat with me ? "
" yea , i'll be right back . " she replied walking into D's room . she picked up her phone and called Em to see if everything was ready for later on .
buzz , buzz! buzz , buzz ! " 15 new messages " Siri stated as D's iPhone went off again .
" who the fuck is blowing up his phone ?" Miyah questioned aloud picking up his phone . 10 of the messages were birthday wishes from people but the other five were from a number saved under " little secret "
" who the fuck ? " kamiyah questioned screwing up her face and clicking on the messages :
" Hey D , last night was fun . "
" Hey sexy . Happy Birthday :) "
" We should chill again soon . we had fun last night . "
" what are you doing next Sat ? "
" hey handsome ! "
" who is this thirsty bitch ? why is she texting my husband ? & what the fuck did they do last night ? " Kamiyah thought to herself .
She erased the messages & threw the phone back on his bed . she fought with herself about whether or not she'd confront him but decided to wait because today was his special day . Kamiyah took a deep breath then made her way back to the kitchen .
" how's the food ? " she questioned trying to hide the anger in her voice .
" it's great bae , you gone eat now ? "
" naw , i'm not hungry anymore . "
" you sure ? "
" yea ! i'm ready to go . "
" iight . " D replied eating his last piece of bacon & getting up from the table .
" this nigga must think shit is sweet . i'll fold him & his lil bitch up ! " Kamiyah mumbled grabbing her phone & purse then walking out the front door .

" yo this limo is nice ! but you didn't have to do all this bae . "
" it's your 16th birthday ! & you deserve the most . " Miyah replied with a smile
D stared her deep in her eyes then pulled her closer for a kiss . he grabbed her ass & tried to slip his hand down her leggings but she stopped him .
" it's not time for that yet . " Miyah stated with a slight smile .
D sat back in his seat & looked out the window as they pulled up to the hospital .
" Hey T ! Hey Natalia ! " Kamiyah said cheerfully as she walked into the room .
" hey miyah ! Happy Birthday D ! " T replied in a rather groggy voice .
" Thanks T . how you feeling nigga ? " D questioned with a concerned look on his face .
" i'm good . just kinda tired & still drowsy from this medicine . "
" I'm glad you're feeling better . we won't stay long . we just wanted to make sure everything was ok . " Miyah said butting in on the conversation .
" Thanks for stopping by . what yall got planned for today ? "
" Girl , it's a surprise . " Miyah responded then walked over & whispered something in T's ear .
D sat with a blank look on his face . He hated secrets . He wanted to know what the surprise was but he knew he'd find out soon enough .
" well i guess we finna go and make these moves . T i'll text you later & natalia take care of my bestfriend . "
" ok . "
" will do . "
D & Kamiyah made their way back to the limo and got in . She handed the driver a piece of paper with the address on it and sat back in her seat and looked at Darrion .
" D .... would you ever cheat on me ? " she questioned with a curious look on her face .
" NEVER ! You're the only girl i want . " he responded . " why ? "
" just curious . " she replied then turned to face the window .
about 15 minutes later they pulled up to this pavillion with a lot of cars parked outside .
" bae , why are we here ? "
" you'll see ! " Kamiyah replied before stepping out the car .
She & D locked hands the walked up to the building .
" SURPRISE !!!! " was all you heard when the door opened .
" Yooo , bae you did all this ? "
" All for you . " she replied before walking him up to his big chair & placing a crown on his head . a few people walked up & wished him Happy Birthday . Then Miyah spotted Terrell & two girls with him . They walked up to D & the whole look on his face changed . miyah read his lips as he asked Terrell " why is she here ? "
Miyah sat thinking to herself that must be " little secret "
